Step 01

The problem

The lateral ran roughly 62 feet from the cleanout to the city tap. Video showed corrosion at two joints, a low spot near the sidewalk, and active root intrusion from a neighbor's ficus. A conventional dig-and-replace quote would have meant two days of saw-cutting, a permit for right-of-way restoration, and several thousand in hardscape repair.

Step 02

The solution

Matthew McGill performed a full pre-lining inspection and marked access at the exterior cleanout. After hydro-jetting and mechanical prep, we inverted a felt tube liner with epoxy resin, pulled a 4-inch CIPP liner through the full run, and cured on site. Lateral connections were reopened with robotic cutters and a post-lining camera verified flow and wall thickness.

Step 03

The outcome

The homeowner kept landscaping and concrete intact. We delivered the inspection video, cure log, and as-built notes the same day. Flow tests passed on first pull. No excavation, no open trench in the front yard.
